The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) brings together ambitious young individuals from across its member countries for the ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS). As a selected participant, you’ll embark on a transformative journey through three distinct phases:
- Phase 1: Knowledge Building (Online, 29 July – 26 August 2025): Immerse yourself in the core concepts of leadership and Society 5.0 through engaging online sessions led by top thinkers and global institutions. This phase will equip you with the foundational knowledge to navigate the complexities of our tech-integrated future.
- Phase 2: Leadership in Action (Online, 27 August – 28 September 2025): Put your learning into practice! You’ll collaborate in international teams with fellow young leaders from Asia and Europe to tackle real-world social challenges. Together, you’ll brainstorm and propose tech-driven solutions, drawing on best practices from both continents.
- Phase 3: Youth Summit in Osaka, Japan (On-site, 29 September – 5 October 2025): Experience the birthplace of Society 5.0 firsthand! Travel to Osaka, Japan, for an intensive week of in-person sessions, expert dialogues, cultural exchange, and the opportunity to present your team’s impactful solutions. This is your chance to network, learn from local perspectives, and forge lasting connections.
