SRINAGAR: The fully funded Erasmus Mundus AMIR scholarship programme in Europe, hosted by Erasmus Mundus and the European Union in collaboration with six partner universities, is inviting applications from students worldwide for the year 2025. The scholarship is for students wishing to pursue a master’s degree and are passionate about working in the raw materials sector, focusing on cutting-edge materials, sustainable development, and recycling within the framework of a circular economy.
The duration of the programme is two years, and the deadline to apply for the scholarship is January 24, 2025.
The AMIR-EMJM scholarships are awarded to top-scoring candidates. Recipients can receive full scholarships amounting to €1,400 per month for two years, covering accommodation, travel, and living expenses. Additionally, scholarship awardees are exempt from AMIR programme fees and are provided with insurance for the duration of the two-year programme. Participants also have the opportunity to choose and study across six partner universities.
The eligibility criteria for the programme include that applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences, or possess at least three years of advanced knowledge in Chemistry. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or Materials Science can also apply.
The required documents include two recommendation letters, an academic transcript, Bachelor’s degree/diploma, a copy of the passport, CV in the Europass template, an English language certificate or an official university letter, a motivation letter, a recent passport-sized photograph, work certificate, and any additional supporting documents or certificates.
