- Be a citizen of an eligible developing country (a list is usually provided on the scholarship webpage).
- Be currently domiciled in an eligible country.
- Have secured an offer (or intend to accept an offer) for an eligible programme at the University of Edinburgh for the 2025-2026 session.
- Hold, or expect to hold, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree.
- Have not previously studied at a Master’s level (priority is often given to those without prior Master’s study).
- Aspire to return home post-graduation to contribute meaningfully to their country’s healthcare or education sectors.
Important: You must have already applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh and received access to their MyEd portal to apply for the scholarship.
